Termite & Bed Bug Control
Termites and bed bugs can make their way into your home through various entry points without you even knowing. Once inside your home, they can go undetected while they multiply and remain hidden doing extensive costly damage. With the assistance of our professional pest technicians, they can be completely removed from your home.
Termite Control
Termites eat wood and can cause great structural damage to your home if left to their own. A typical homeowner’s insurance policy does not cover destruction caused by termites, even though they cause billions of dollars in damage to homes throughout the United States each year. Our inspection and treatment program can help you understand the threat of termites, and we will take the necessary steps to protect your home. In addition, we offer real estate transfer termite inspections.
Termite Inspection
We thoroughly inspect your home or business, looking for the signs of termite infestation. Some signs include:
- Mud tubes built for traveling above ground
- Damaged or hollow-sounding wood
- Pinholes in drywall or wallpaper
- Small piles of sawdust
- Piles of small wings
- Other specific termite indicators
Termite Treatment
To control termites, we use conventional treatments and heat treatments. After inspecting your property, we will create an effective treatment plan that’s right for your home or building. This can include:
- Exterior Protection – create a continuous chemical barrier around the exterior of your home or building to keep termites from entering.
- Direct Contact – when possible, apply chemicals directly to the pests
- Insect Growth – apply chemicals that duplicate the insect's natural hormones to disrupt their growth and development

Bed Bug Control
Heat treatments offer certain advantages when it comes to bed bug management. Heat is non-toxic and can kill ALL bed bug life stages including bed bug eggs. Most heat treatments need to be used in combination with other non-chemical and/or chemical methods to control an infestation. We perform a targeted crack and crevice treatment using an odorless and non-staining desiccant dust to prevent re-infestation.
Bed Bug Treatment
All RPC heat treatments are performed using specialized professional electric heating equipment. Our heat treatments generally allow us to heat one room, or an entire apartment depending on size, and easily penetrates mattresses, box springs, furniture, carpets, walls, and ceilings without fear of damaging the structure, furniture, or other personal items. From start to finish it usually takes 6 to 12 hours to thoroughly treat a room.
